Adrenaline increases the heart rate, the blood supply and the sugar supply from the liver into the blood stream and alerts the muscles to impulses from the nervous system, thereby getting the organism ready for ‘FIGHT OR FLIGHT REACTION ‘ when STRESS is experienced.
